Victoria Woodbury

Forensic Inspector and CDR Technician

Victoria Woodbury serves as a Forensic Inspector and Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) Technician where she assists with CDR, or “black box,” data retrievals from vehicles. This is a crucial role within the VA Forensics team since the CDR systems record critical information such as impact speed, braking, percent throttle, seat belt status, steering wheel angle, and whether or not an airbag deployment event occurred. This information is crucial in vehicle crashes for the full documentation and preservation of evidence.

For six years, Victoria has been a creative team player, and is skilled at pulling the VA Forensics team together through various events and activities. Her previous career experience in online solutions and project management lends to her ability to create a communal environment and boosts company morale. This engaging atmosphere ensures VA Forensics clients are receiving the best service from analyst and engineers.

Victoria earned a master’s degree in psychology from Santa Clara University, and a bachelor’s degree, also in psychology, from University of California Santa Barbara.

When she’s not working, Victoria enjoys woodworking, reading, and volunteering for local and international non-profit organizations.
