Ali Farhat, MSBE

Accident Reconstructionist & Biomechanical Analyst

As a Forensic Biomechanical Reconstructionist, Ali Farhat uses engineering principles to analyze accidents and the biomechanics involved to generate simulations that attorneys and insurance companies use to successfully litigate cases. His engineering experience and educational background allows him to support VA Forensics in providing superior accident analyses and service.

Ali has worked with lead researchers and explored new methods of cancer detection using ultrasound, as well as acquired, repaired and maintained laboratory equipment for the Biomedical Engineering department at Riverside Research in New York City. He also used his expertise in R&D as a Biomedical Analyst for the University of Engineering and Technology in Pakistan.

Ali earned a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Dundee in Scotland. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics from the University of Engineering & Technology in Peshawar, Pakistan.

When he’s not working, Ali enjoys reading, running, playing and watching sports, cooking, and finding new skills to learn.
