3D Laser Scanning

An important component of accident reconstruction is accurate and timely evidence preservation as well as a definitive means by which to document accident sites, vehicles, and environments. 3-D Laser scanning allows us to measure millions of data points within a reliable 3D colored model that can then be constructed from the scan data for animation or measurement purposes. Our Faro 3-D laser scanners grant us the capabilities of capturing and preserving every detail from even the most complex objects, such as vehicles and accident locations, and allowing us to determine crush and damage profiles of the subject vehicles. This information is stored for future use and incorporated with accompanying software to create the most precise reconstructions of even the most complicated collisions.
